Little colorado river coalition Fee
Forest Lakes Domestic Water Improvement District has been involved in the Little Colorado River Coalition since 1998 with Mr. David Brown and his firm Brown and Brown Law. LCR was formed regarding the general adjudication of all rights to use water in the Little Colorado River System and Source.
Mr. Brown has had to hire other Law firms over the years to help with the increase litigations and expert witnesses. There are approximately 22 entities involved in the LCR Coalition. Each entity pays a percentage of the total. As Forest Lakes DWID cannot get into details about the litigation without a lawyer present, we do want our community to know the importance of the litigation and what is at stake. (i.e.) water supply and water cost.
The minutes of the Public Hearing and Executive Session which established the LCR Coalition Fee on our water bills can be downloaded below.
